"Moon Salto"

Moon salto is a group exhibition reflecting the silence of moon light and power of the aerial flip (salto).
This is a rare opportunity to see the works of five up-and coming Japanese artists and a dancer in Berlin.
ARTISTS
Jyunichi Akagawa and Shiori Tada
The sound and visual artist Jyunichi Akagawa will be presenting a performance piece in collaboration with dancer Tada Shiori. A must-see!! The work is a culmination of his year-long stay in Berlin.
Ryousuke Imamura
A much celebrated young artist, in the midst of his three month residency with the Daimler Foundation. The ordinary and the natural are the motifs of his silent and intricate installations and visual works.
Nobuaki Oonishi
In the precision of technique and the coolness of images, the three-dimensional works of existing objects painted and embedded in clear resin harks back to concepts such as ‘mu’ and other Japanese religious views. He is in Berlin for his one-year research residency at the Goto Foundation.
Kouichi Tabata
His drawings on acrylic boards are completely dismantled and reconstructed on the screen. In his refined pieces one finds his intellectual pursuits.
Atsushi Fukunaga
An installation consisting only of sound, this piece is made for a subterranean space. This is a reconstruction of the piece, which was originally produced in Asahi Art Square in Tokyo this February.
